My name is Stéfan Mostert. I am a staff member at Lofdal International Church in Brackenfell, Cape Town. I am part of the media and worship teams and I also assist in other areas in the ministry.
I was born in October 1985 in Uitenhage; a small town just outside the city of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. I am the eldest son of two retired primary school teachers and I have one younger brother.
I started school at Albertyn Primary School, the school at which my parents taught. After primary school, I attended Daniel Pienaar Technical High School in Uitenhage matriculating in 2003. Following high school I joined Zóé Academy, a youth ministry team based in Gauteng, South Africa.
During my time at Zóé, I learned many things about life and myself. It taught me many skills in various aspects of life including inter-personal relationships, doing things with my hands, being an example to others and the potential that was placed inside me. It was an excellent place to learn not only who I am, but why I am.
After many years with the group I joined Lofdal International. An amazing church in Cape Town. But it is not a church in the normal sense of the word. It is a ministry that impacts peoples lives in various aspects. Feeding the hungry, helping people with addiction issues, teaching children, taking care of abandoned babies and so much more. It is truly a huge honour to be part of this wonderful team.
I aim that my life will be an example of Jesus. I can do many things, but without Him I am nothing.
